And...here we go!

1. It's time for doing some grocery and shopping for my daughter's birthday on Sunday.

3. I must be taking a nap now while my little boy is sleeping

4. Having my two children is the best thing I have ever known.

Happy Birthday Symone!

It's my daughter Symone's 6th birthday today. Time really flies fast. I can still remember the day I gave birth to her. I am so proud of my little girl. Seeing her grow makes me a fulfilled mother. I love her so much and may God always guide her throughout her life.

Nothing much is planned today. Symone will be having her birthday party on Sunday. Relatives and close friends will be here. I know that my little girl is so excited for her party.

I love you Symone! Be good always! Happy 6th birthday!

Iglesia Ni Cristo Celebrates It's 95th Anniversary

Manila Bulletin,
Monday, July 27, 2009

Iglesia ni Cristo 95th Anniversary celebrated Monday July 27, 2009

Founded in 1914, the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) celebrates its 95th Anniversary Monday. As a church, the Iglesia ni Cristo has spanned six continents, establishing over 5,000 Missions in 100 countries, making it truly a global church. In celebrating its Anniversary Monday, a special national working holiday mandated by Republic Act 9645, signed into law by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on June 12, 2009, the Iglesia faithful celebrate the phenomenal growth of the church that has surpassed all other denominations and testifies to the zeal of its leaders in pursuing its mission.

The Iglesia’s leaders, from its first Executive Minister Felix Y. Manalo to current Executive Minister Eraño G. Manalo, have steered the church in its evangelization mission. The Iglesia is aware that it is a Christian religious society, not a political organization, but it has not turned blind eye to pressing social concerns that affect the life of its members. The church remains socially responsive, caring for its members and society at large and addressing social issues such as poverty and peace and order. It educates its members to remain disciplined and responsible citizens, abiding by the laws of God and men.

A distinction of the Iglesia is the strength of its leadership, from its first Executive Minister, Felix Y. Manalo, whom the faithful recognized as God’s messenger, to the incumbent Executive Minister, Brother Eraño G. Manalo. Brother Eraño has remained faithful to the Biblical principles and administrative system laid down by his predecessor, prudently avoiding the limelight that many religious leaders have succumbed to.

Monday, in celebration of its 95th Anniversary, the Iglesia ni Cristo will assemble its leaders and memebers in humble thanksgiving for the Lord for his goodness and blessings.

We congratulate the Iglesia ni Cristo, headed by Executive Minister Eraño G. Manalo, Officers and Members, on the occasion of its 95th anniversary and wish them success in all their endeavors.

To all my fellow brethren around the world, Happy 95th Anniversary!!!

For Us, Women

From my inbox....

Vaccine _ avoid being vaccinated with Cervical Cancer vaccine called Gardasil

The Health Science Institute (HSI) has issued a public warning advising girls and women to avoid being vaccinated with the Cervical Cancer vaccine called Gardasil.. According to Jenny Thompson at HSI, 11,916 adverse events after injection have already been reported to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) … and counting. Those adverse events include:
Pain and swelling. Life-threatening muscle weakness. Blood clots in the heart and lungs. The deaths of 32 innocent girls and young women.

The health threats listed above have all been linked with Gardasil, the so-called "cervical cancer vaccine" says Thompson. Merck, the pharmaceutical giant that manufactures Gardasil is aggressively marketing the vaccine as a way for parents and young women to protect t hemselves from Cervical Cancer and thus saves lives.
HSI's Jenny Thompson has released a 7 minute video in which she exposes the deception put forth in the marketing of this vaccine and reveals some truly shocking information no one else is talking about.
If you have daughters, granddaughters or friends who might be considering this vaccine, you must watch this video.. Please forward it to anyone you think would benefit from the vital information it contains.
If you think you know the whole story on Gardasil, you'll be shocked by what you're about to see. Just click below to start watching the video. It's just a few minutes long…and those few minutes might just save a young girl's life.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBAv1H0-dYc

is this true? I received this email and decided to share it to those who are concern. This can be some kind of nasty rumor against the said vaccine but still this can serve also as a warning to all of us women.

Coffee Cups

From my inbox:

COFFE CUPS
Author Unknown

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together
to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into
complaints about stress in work and life.
Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and
returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups -
porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some
expensive, some exquisite. He told the group to help themselves to the
coffee.
When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said:
"If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up,
leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to
want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems
and stress. Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the
coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even
hides what we drink.
What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you
consciously went for the best cups....and then you began eyeing each
other's cups.
Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in
society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life,
and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of
the Life we live. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail
to enjoy the coffee God has provided us.
God brews the coffee, not the cups.....Enjoy your coffee!"
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make
the best of everything.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the
rest to God.
You are the miracle, my friend, your life either shines a light - or
casts a shadow

My Facebook Addiction

Itr_bigger

I've been with Facebook for approximately two years already but it was just recently that I have been active on it. My friends we're addicted to it and I was curious why. I found it that Facebook is not just a simple social network like others. Facebook has so many applications like games and stuff that makes the users addicted to it. I, myself is now enjoying games in Facebook like Pet Society, Farm Town, Mafia Wars etc. Playing these games opens my doors in meeting different people from different countries.

As I was surfing through the different applications in Facebook, I came across this intriguing InTheRooms Facebook App. This application is all about self recovery from different kinds of addiction. This is a global recovery group for people have been suffering or suffered from different forms of addiction. InTheRooms is also known to be the top self recovery site online that helped people. You can now add this application on your Facebook profile or account and you can also share your recovery time on it. This application is very helpful to those who are in need of someone who shares the same sentiments that they are feeling from their addictions.

Parent's Wish

I just want and wish for few things in life. Good health for my family especially to my parents and happiness for them. I always pray to God to give them longer life so that we, their children can spend more time with them. I love my parents so much and I am willing to spare them from anything which I know might harm them.

Watch this clip.....This is a bit of a tear jerker but thought you might enjoy.

Music Monday - Rainbow Connection

I would like to dedicate this week's Music Monday to my sister Ella who is celebrating her 32nd birthday today.

This song reminded me of Ella when she was still a kid. She loves this song so much. It's her theme song! I remember her singing this song with our mother. I just hope I can turn back the time and relive those precious moments with my sister.

Happy Birthday Ella! You have no idea how much we miss you. I just wish you're here with us to celebrate your special day. I'll be starting to count the days till you be back home with us. We love you so much! I just want to wish you more success and good health. Always remember that "ATE" loves you so so much!

Parents Connect

I've been down with flu for a couple of days now. Every time I am sick I get this kinda guilty feeling of not spending much time with my kids. I always see to it that whenever I am on my normal self I get to spend more quality time with them. Today, as to what I have said I am sick. Hubby and I with the kids just stayed home. I know that my eldest understood that we should stay at home this week because mommy needs to rest. My kids are used to going out every Sunday. We love to take them to the nearest mall or playground and have a dinner at their favorite restaurant. Hubby and I planned something great next Sunday. We planned to take them at the zoo to have a picnic there.

Parents nowadays can have some helpful tips and can get some fun ideas for the parents and their kids. They can seek help through the Parents Connect Widget which happens to be installed on my sidebar. You just type your zip code and you can view the latest activities and events near your place. ParentsConnect.com has an on going contest. The person/blog with the widget that gets the most views will win $1000. Isn't that cool? I am up to the challenge and I hope to win the prize.
