Symone's Reward

It's been awhile since I last updated this blog. As of the previous post I told you guys that my daughter Symone just graduated from pre-school. I was so proud of my little girl because she gave me and hubby 3 gold medals. As a way of giving her a reward for a job well done in school, hubby and I decided to give her a reward. We asked her what she wants and she told us that she wanted to have a dvd player portable. So without any hesitations hubby and I bought one as gift for her and when we gave it to her we knew that she is very happy indeed.

I told Symone that she better do good again in school next year because another reward awaits her again.... and she told me... "MOMMY, I'll give you another medal next time"

I am now wondering what reward should we give her again next time? any good idea? =)

My Friend's Wedding

One of my close girl friend called me up this afternoon to inform me that after a year of being engage to her childhood sweetheart, they will finally tie the knot 2 months from now. I am so excited since my daughter will be one of their flower girls. My friend told me that she's so busy preparing for her big event and she was not expecting that planning a wedding is as hard as she is experiencing right now. She sees to it that every single details of the wedding is well organized as she doesn't want anything funny to happen on her much awaited event. She wanted their wedding to be as elegant as possible but she also wants to spend their wedding money wisely. She and her fiance are now hunting for cheap invitations and they are now asking me some help about it since they know that I am patient looking for some good deals online.

I told my daughter Symone that she will be a flower girl again soon (it's her second time anyway) and she is so happy and excited about it. As early as now, I'll start to look for some beautiful gown designs online and I'll see to it that my child will look good on my friend's wedding.

Symone's New Toy

My daughter Symone made it again on her class honor roll last quarter. Hubby and I were so happy to receive another merit card from Symone's school. We thought of giving my little girl a little something as a reward for a job well done. Hubby and I asked her what reward does she want. She told us that she wants a new mp3 player loaded with her favorite songs. So last week hubby and I decided to give my child what she wants. Hubby bought a not so expensive pink mp3 player for our princess. Symone was so happy with her new toy and she was overwhelmed with the color too because it's her favorite. I told hubby to load up Symone's player with her favorite songs with the help of the MP3SearchEngine . Hubby loaded up my daughter's player and also his player. He spent hours searching all the songs that he likes and downloaded hundreds of it. I was so grateful that I've learned about this site because I have found all the hard to find songs that I want.

School year will be finish in a few more weeks and I am hoping and even praying too, that our little girl, my Symone will be on her class honor roll again. She will be graduating in pre-school this April and I am so excited to see my "not so" little girl entering big school next school year.

Good Morning!

Good Morning Friends! It's not very usual for me to be awake at this early (7AM) I slept at 4am and have to be up early for my little girl. She has to be in school early because she will be competing in a sports fest. Hubby and I will be watching her game later. I just wish my Symone good luck!

Anyway, I want to share that hubby and I talked last night about saving some money to buy a Modern Furniture for our house. Hubby thinks that our furniture are a little bit outdated and some needs to be repaired. I just told him that we should start saving now and cut down all the unnecessary expenses.

Till my next post!

Symone Made It...Again!

My Fairy Symone

We just got home from my daughter's trick or treat party at school. My daughter wanted to be a fairy so hubby and I bought her a fairy costume last night. She slept early last night and was so excited to wear her costume.

We went at her school at 10am and my daughter had a grand time playing with her classmates and getting some treats from her teachers. Symone's school also released their 2nd quarter grades. I was so proud seeing my little girls name on their school's board. Symone made it again on her class' honor roll and she got another merit certificate which made us all so proud of her.

Below are some pictures that hubby took this morning at my daughter's school.

Happy Birthday Symone!

It's my daughter Symone's 6th birthday today. Time really flies fast. I can still remember the day I gave birth to her. I am so proud of my little girl. Seeing her grow makes me a fulfilled mother. I love her so much and may God always guide her throughout her life.

Nothing much is planned today. Symone will be having her birthday party on Sunday. Relatives and close friends will be here. I know that my little girl is so excited for her party.

I love you Symone! Be good always! Happy 6th birthday!

Cooking With Symone

I had a real good time with my daughter Symone this afternoon. She wanted me to cook her favorite "fish tempura" for dinner. I went to the grocery and bought all the ingredients for the food. As I was preparing the ingredients, Symone told me that she wants to help me. So I let her help me. We made a lot of fish tempura and she was the one who coats the fish with the breading. I know how much she enjoyed our little time doing things together. She told me that she wants to be a chef when she grows up. As soon as Hubby came from work, our little Symone told her daddy how she made the fish tempura and she told hubby that she was so tired cooking. Here are some pictures of us.....

Beating the Heat

Summer has began! we are so exhausted. Hubby and I decided to set up our inflatable pool for our kids. My daughter Symone was so excited. As soon as that pool was filled up with water my kids together with hubby can't wait to finally take a dip. Hubby and kids stayed at the pool for hours.

Busy Day

I had a real busy day today. My kids and I spent our day at my aunt's place. My relatives were all there. My aunt prepared lunch and dinner for us. Since my aunt's house is near their village clubhouse, Symone spent most of her time in the pool with my cousins. I had a hard time taking care of my youngest, Liam. He wanted to walk and walk and walk. It's a good thing that my cousins were there and they helped me with my little boy. Sadly, Hubby had to go to the office today. He missed the fun of being with my relatives. We got home at 9pm. My kids were tired. As soon as I finished cleaning them, my two bosses fell asleep. Hubby came late. We had dinner together. I am planning to sleep early tonight and be prepared of another busy day tomorrow with my kids.

Goodnight everyone!

Symone's Recognition Day

Symone's summer vacation has officially started. Her recognition day was held last Saturday, April 4th. I was so proud of my daughter. She received special awards and hubby was the one who gave Symone her medal on stage. Hubby and I were so happy seeing our little girl on stage, dancing and singing with her classmates.

Job Well Done Symone!

It was a very good school year for Symone. She was accelerated and will be entering as preparatory student next school year. I hope that Symone will continue to do good in school. I am so proud of my daughter and this is something which money cannot ever buy me... the happiness of being a mother!

Here's a video which hubby uploaded. This is Symone singing and dancing on stage.

Action All Stars For My Daughter

Dotcom_outlinedall

My daughter loves to play online games and since she is in kindergarten school already I am only allowing her to play her computer games every weekend. She loves role playing and sports games and since she is playing online I wanted to monitor her games and check on her every time she is playing because I want her to play games which is suited for her age. I don't want her to play online games that is not safe for her young age. And since I have a one year old son also I cannot monitor my daughter as often as I wanted.

It's a good thing that I learned about the ActionAllStars.com. I tried it out myself before letting my daughter play it. I can attest that this game is safe for kids. Kids can chat with different players but their chat is being monitored by the site's moderators. ActionAllStars.com is fun to play. Kids can choose what to play. They can choose from football, baseball and basketball.

I've made my daughter her own account and I let her choose her own avatar and we both decided and agreed to name it ELAIZAH. Elaizah is my daughter's name and she was so happy seeing her name together with the avatar that she did.

Aside from being a free online community, us, parents can be assured that our kids will have fun while having a safe environment on the net.

Proud Mommy Moment

Hubby had an appointment with Symone's teacher this morning. They will be releasing my daughter's report card. My daughter worked hard for this quarter. I've seen how eager she was in doing her assignments.

Hubby just arrived and we were so happy that Symone's grades improved a lot. She got a 96% average quite high compared to her 92% average last quarter . I'm so happy! hard work pays! I'm so proud of my little girl...

I asked my daughter what she wants..... guess what she said? a baby sister! HAHAHA!

This another proud mommy moment for me!
