Goodbye Tita Cory

Ex-president of the Philippines, Corazon Cojuangco Aquino passed away August 1, 2009. After more than a year of battling colon cancer she finally joined our creator peacefully. The Filipinos mourn and silently weep on the reality that a great leader was now gone. It was such a great loss to us, Filipinos. Tita Cory will live forever in everyone's heart.

Yesterday, Hubby told me that on his way to the office he was fortunate to take a glimpse of Tita Cory's coffin and funeral convoy. It was such a great event seeing people waving and crying upon the sight of the coffin.

To all my friends and blog visitors I would like to greet all of you a blessed Sunday... hope all of you are enjoying your weekend.

As for me, I am now getting ready for a busy day ahead. My daughter Symone will be having her 6th birthday party today. Few relatives and some close friends were invited. A little dinner will be shared by all of us. I know that my little girl is so excited. She woke up kinda early today. Hubby and my son are still sleeping and I will be waking them up after this post.
