Symone's First Day

Today was my daughter's first day in school. She'd been looking forward for this since April. I was so excited seeing my Symone back in school again. I woke up at 6am to prepare for her things. Hubby slept late last night because he finished covering Symone's textbooks. When Symone got up she was excited just like Mommy. We were so excited to bring her to school. I even brought my 4 month old son, Liam with us.

I hope this will be a good school year for my little girl.

OUR FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATION

Its past noon and still we haven't decided where will we celebrate father's day. After all of the suggestions from hubby and mom we finally decided to go to the cemetery... yup! you read it right... we will be celebrating father's day at the cemetery. It's been ages since we last visited my grandfather's grave who passed away a couple of years back. So, off we go with hubby, my two kids, mom, Mimi and our helper. The traffic was quite heavy and it is very exhausting. It took us 2 long hours before reaching Manila North Cemetery. We only stayed there for half an hour.

I missed TATANG (which I fondly call my grandfather)so much... I know that he is happy wherever he is right now... I know that he is happy looking at us living a contented life that he always wanted for us.

Anyways... We had dinner at North Park (a Chinese resto). Mom loves chinese as well as mimi and my symone.

Reached home at 9pm.. It was a very tiring day for all of us.

Hubby and kids are already sleeping and its just now (almost 2am) that ill be having my "alone time" with my laptop... got so many emails to check and so many EC drops to make.

For the two most important men in my life

TO THE FATHER OF MY CHILDREN, MY HUSBAND & MY BESTFRIEND

From the bottom of my heart I thank you for being a wonderful daddy to Symone and Liam. No words can quantify how grateful I am having you in my life. You may be far from being perfect but for us, your family, you are more than just perfect and we couldnt ask for more. A great daddy, a good provider and a very loving husband all rolled into one. We love you so much honey and HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.

And lastly...

TO MY ONE & ONLY PAPA,

I sincerely thank you for raising and loving me and ella. You showed us the real meaning of love. You may not tell us often how much you love us but your actions shouted to us, your children, how great and how much you love us. Thank you papa for always being there for us, thank you for being a good father to us, thank you for believing in us and thank you very much for loving MAMA more than your life.

Through the years we encountered our family's share of ups and downs, there may be problems and trials but now as I recall those hard times that we've been through I can proudly say that it is you papa who made us strong! Thanks for always being our strength and Thanks for teaching how to be brave and strong.

God knows that Ella and I are so grateful having you as our father. A man of few words, a man with dignity and a man full of faith.

Thank you Papa! Thank you for loving us so much...

You will always be my children's very own TOTOY! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Lie... Lie... Lie...

For the past days I've had enough share and encounters with different lies that it came to a point that I felt betrayed. It came to a point that I wanted to shout to the whole world that IT WAS ALL A LIE... but I know that if ever I fought for the right and honest thing so many people will get hurt knowing the truth behind those lies. I pity people who tell lies all the time and with all due respect to them I know and I feel that they have their own reasons why they kept on telling lies. I always think and ask myself "WHY DO PEOPLE TELL LIES?" I dont want to sound so clean regarding this topic... I admit that sometimes I also do tell lies but there are people who cannot open their mouths without lying and trust me those people do really exist....

So many things have been said and I know that fighting for the right is not right anymore....

I've searched the net with these questions in my mind.... why do people tell lies? where does it came from? why do we do it?

In this article the reasons will be revealed....

As a Joke

Many times individuals lie to tell jokes. Does that make it a good thing? Maybe not, but I guess it will depend on the person. If it is perhaps Halloween, and a group of kids are planning a scare, one of them might lie to get an individual trapped into their prank. Even in simple sarcastic conversations one may tell a lie, but was only being sarcastic with actually no intention of harming or deceiving the person. In either case, this form of lying, as a joke, is one of the reasons why people lie.

To Escape Punishment

Another reason why people lie is to escape punishment. If a child knows that he's done something wrong and is afraid he is going to get punished for it, the natural reaction of a human is to lie to prevent it. However, many times that just makes it worse, and so in some cases people know to tell the truth up front to avoid getting caught in a lie later. On the other hand, those that do tell a lie are simply doing so as a risk to avoid punishment.

Deceptive Gain

This is form of lying is probably the most harmful. In many cases, this form of lying is no different than taking another's belongings or life, but many still seem to do it regardless of the outcomes. Why do people do it? Well, that question can be debated. Many couples do this to cheat on their spouse. Many thieves do this to steal others' belongs. Many individuals do this to control the minds of people to get them to do what they want to do. Whatever the reason of this deceptive form of lying, most people do it as a form of deceptive gain.

Confused Mind

The final reason why people lie is when individuals don't know the truth. Perhaps the person is taught something, and it is passed on to the next. It may be a lie, but the person still believes it. So if they really believe it, then are they lying? They aren't lying intentionally, but are still doing so because of not telling the truth. With this form of lying, the reason why people do this is mainly because of blind believing, or fear. Many times (although unintentional) it can be just as problematic as to that which is done for deceptive gain.

Those are the 4 main reasons why people lie. Is there a way to stop people from lying? Are all of them bad? Well, that depends on whom you ask. Whether it is a good or bad, can or cannot be prevented, the main reasons are revealed

Lastly... I know that God knows all things... truth will always prevail!!!

To my sister.... BE STRONG!!!! Do what you think is right and we will always be with you no matter what.... truth will set us free!

Breast Cancer Awareness

got this tag from CHARM

"Let us help spread the awareness on the ‘Breast Cancer Awareness’ month of June. Please help convey the importance of regular examination and early detection of breast cancer in order to catch this disease when it first erupts, maximizing the chance of survival and recovery."

These are some facts I got from Cancer Research web site. How many people survive breast cancer?

* More women are surviving breast cancer than ever before
* Breast cancer survival rates have been improving for more than twenty years
* In the 1970s around 5 out of 10 breast cancer patients survived beyond five years. Now it’s 8 out of 10
* Breast cancer survival rates are significantly higher among women from the most affluent areas compared to women living in the most deprived areas
* Breast cancer survival rates are better the earlier the cancer is diagnosed
* Around 9 out of 10 of women diagnosed with stage I breast cancer survives beyond five years. This drops to around 1 out of 10 diagnosed with stage I

So I advise women out there to have their breasts checked if they feel something wrong with it. It doesn’t matter if it’s a false alarm, an unnecessary worry on your part. What is important is that you’re doing your part in preventing it.

Help spread awareness. You can help the lives of many women by spreading the word about The Breast Cancer Site. If The Breast Cancer Site receives 8 million clicks on the pink button in June, their premier sponsor -Bare Necessities- will donate $10,000 for more free mammograms. CLICK the pink button today!

And now Im passing this tag to every women out there.... let us help spread this info for our own future. Feel free to grab this tag and help spread the word of awareness.
thanks!
